Modi government gets tough on industries for polluting river Ganga

Water Resource Minister Uma Bharti have issued a deadline for industries to stop polluting the river Ganga. The government has hinted that either they mend their ways or face the consequences. The industries will have to setup a sensor based online monitoring system by March 2015. The government wants that the waste water discharged in the sea, should be recycled and reused by the industries. Sana Warsia – NMTV
