MONTEK SINGH AHLUWALIA GIVES AWAY RAMAKRISHNA BAJAJ NATIONAL QUALITY AWARDS 2007

imc-award-3Montek Singh Ahluwalia – Dy. Chairman of the Planning Commission of India presided over the Ramkrishna Bajaj National Quality Awards 2007 in Mumbai. Indian Merchant Chamber’s National Quality Award 2008 culminated in Mumbai. The awards honor institutes and organizations who have made quality and excellence a continuous process. The awardees were honored at the hands of Montek Singh Ahluwalia – Dy. Chairman of the Planning Commission of India. Bihar Caustic & Chemicals Ltd., Jharkhand won the award in manufacturing category, Ma Foi Management Consultants Ltd., Chennai won in service, Prima Automation, Gandhinagar won in small business, Manipal University in education category and Hinduja National Hospital won in healthcare. Montek Singh Ahluwalia’s presence added glitters to the event. Mr. Ahluwalia has held several prestigious posts in the government of India that includes Special Secretary to the Prime Minister of India. He has published various articles on various aspects of economics in prominent international journals. DAV schools once again created a mark as DAV Public School, Airoli was honored with the certificate of merit in education and DAV Public School, Pune and DAV Institute of Management, Faridabad were honored with the Commendation Certificates. This is not the first time the DAV Group has won accolades for acquiring high standards in quality and excellence. Under the leadership of the group’s Regional Director Dr. K B Kushal, the DAV Public School Panvel had won the first Ramakrishna Bajaj National Quality Award in the education category.
