MSEDC DIWALI GIFT – SE SATISH KARPE DECLARES NO LOAD SHEDDING ON DIWALI AND EID

mseb-load-sheddingThe post monsoon period has brought the much-dreaded load shedding by MSEDC into effect again. Navi Mumbaikars from round the city spoke to Navi Mumbai News and voiced their requests that MSEDC not cut power supply for load shedding on Diwali and Eid. When we spoke to Superintending Engineer Satish Karpe, he agreed to give in to the request made by residents. So we’d just say enjoy more this Diwali and Eid with uninterrupted power supply. Load shedding has commenced in Navi Mumbai once again. The MSEDC is cutting down on power supply for nearly 2.5 hours everyday to conserve electricity. Despite the inconvenience, Navi Mumbaikars adjusted with load shedding but the festival season definitely needs consideration by MSEDC feel Navi Mumbaikars. The Muslim Community spoke to Navi Mumbai News and voiced that it is difficult to offer prayers for Ramadan due to load shedding. Diwali and Eid have again embraced each other this year as well. Hence, Navi Mumbaikars are demanding that for the 5 days of the festival, MSEDC stalls the load shedding process. After this, our Correspondent Milind Tambe met MSEDC SE Satish Karpe and spoke to him in regards to the request of Navi Mumbaikars. Respecting the needs of the festival season, SE Satish Karpe agreed to not cut down power supply for Diwali and Eid. For the city, the news of no load shedding for 5 days is being welcomed with open arms, adding to the joys of the festive season.
