After the introduction of snap shot of the electricity meter on the bill, MSEDC has moved a step forward and would be soon providing the SMS facility to its consumers for its consumers. To better serve their consumers, MSEDC has been introducing many new facilities one of which was the photo bill. Further creating more transparency in the system and keeping pace with technology, MSEDC Navi Mumbai has upgraded its services by providing the SMS facility for its consumers. Under this facility, the consumers can get to know the status of their electricity bill by sending a message along with their consumer number to 56677. The consumer will receive an instant reply giving them information about their due date and billing amount. While this facility is in the testing stages at present, its launch is still awaited.
