Municipal commissioner Tukaram Mundhe launches e-payment services

Taking a step towards paperless, transparent and fast track processing, Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) on Wednesday launched e-payment services whereby payments will now be credited in the account of the payee directly and no cheques will be issued from now on.
Municipal commissioner Tukaram Mundhe launched the service ‘host to host’ at civic head office. “The service will play an important role in bringing transparency and will also save on time and energy of any person who is made to make rounds of the civic office to get his payment cleared,” said the civic chief Mundhe.
After taking over as municipal commissioner Mundhe has stressed on transparent, corruption free administration and launch of the host to host services for e-payment is a step in this direction.
