Navi Mumbai is soon going to become a hub of diverse culture as after the Kerala, Megalaya & Assam Bhavan, the government of Nagaland have started a project worth Rs 10.71 for construction of its new bhavan near Vashi railway station. CIDCO has been entrusted with the responsibility of the construction of a guest house at Vashi by the Nagaland government. The project is estimated at a cost of Rs. 10.71 crores. The guest house & emporium will be a ground plus four structure while staff quarters would be of ground plus two. Vashi would become the centre of cultural traditions as many exhibitions & cultural events would be held here. This would also be used as a guest house for ministers coming from the respective states. Along with allotting the space to International Infotech Park, CIDCO had also assigned the space for state houses so that the city attains cultural diversity. The project is scheduled to be completed by March 18, 2009.
