During the oath taking ceremony of Kripashankar Singh as a President of Mumbai State Congress, Maharashtra Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh and President of MPCC State Election Committee President Gurudas Kamath indirectly but made definite attacks on State Revenue Minister Narayan Rane. Chief Minister Vilarasrao Deshmukh knows for now he has beaten Narayan Rane and he is showing it too. Speaking at a recent ceremony of the Congress, the Chief Minister hinted at the resignation submitted by Narayan Rane and said that he should continue to pursue acceptance of his resignation by the party high commands. Quite confident that Narayan Rane’s exit will make no difference to the Congress party and its strength in the state, the Chief Minister wants him to leave party. For this he gave the example of Gurudas Kamath’s resignation. And when guru Vilasrao Deshmukh attacked Narayan Rane with words during this ceremony, how could disciple Gurudas Kamat stay quite. He too sighted the example of Sonia Gandhi’s decision to challenge Narayan Rane. Even though Vilasrao Deshmukh and Gurudas Kamath cherish their victory and are trying to put down Rane, however these leaders are undermining the fact that Narayan Rane proved his worth when he quit Shiv Sena to give Congress massive support in the form of 5 MLAs that made Congress the single biggest ruling party as compared to others. And if Narayan Rane does walk out, it would somewhere be loss, and not a small one, for the Congress. With cameraperson Dyaneshwar Mali, Rajeev Mishra for NMTV News.
