The Navi Mumbai Advocate Bar Association indulged in social work with a seminar held at Skills and Ability where the participants were made aware of the laws and rights of deaf and deafblind. The Mumbai High Court has given the work of creating awareness about the rights and laws of deaf and deafblind to the lower and district courts. In the course, the Navi Mumbai Advocate Bar Association conducted a seminar at Skills and Ability at Nerul. The seminar also addressed the issues of basic rights, queries and misconceptions about deaf and deafblind. The participants were given details about the Mental Health Act 1987 and Disabilities Act 1995. Speaking to Navi Mumbai News also spoke to the Principal of Skills and Ability Anita Bhaskaran.
