NAVI MUMBAI CRIME BRANCH CHARGES MCOCA ON 31 CRIMINALS

31 criminals, against whom various cases were filed in 14 police stations of Navi Mumbai, will be charged under MCOCA Act. Police expects that such actions would reduce the number of crimes and criminals in the city. With increasing cases of extortion, murder and robbery in the city, Navi Mumbai police have now decided to take strict action to curb it. Under this Navi Mumbai police would be applying the MCOCA Act on 31 criminals who were arrested by the police and charged with serious crimes. This includes criminals from Ravi Poojari gang for firing at the office of Bhoomi Constructions and people involved in Pfizer scam. In addition to this, police has also decided to apply MCOCA on 11 scrap mafias. Police Commissioner Ramrao Wagh gave us more insight. The Navi Mumbai Police has completed the necessary procedure that is required from the DGP. Police Commissioner has expressed his confidence that punishing these people under MCOCA would be a lesson to other offenders and that the graph of crime would surely come down.
