The Navi Mumbai Police conducted there annual press meet to give the figures and crime graph for 2007. Considering the dynamics of the growing city, the figures of crime expectedly are worrisome. The Navi Mumbai Police called for the annual press conference to make public their performance for 2007. Commissioner of Police Ramrao Wagh presided over the conference. The crime graph shows an increase of nearly 150% informed the CP as he gave an insight. Of the serious 4572 criminal cases registered, only 2502 have been closed. The year 2007 saw some of the biggest criminal cases and high profile murder cases that still remain unsolved but the Commissioner of Police did seem complacent about the performance of the police.
