NCP HEAVYWEIGHTS TAKE THE CITY BY STORM AHEAD OF MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS

ncp-sabha-2A huge public meet was held by the NCP party in Navi Mumbai at Nerul where NCP heavyweights R R Patil, Jayant Patil, Babanrao Pachpute, Supriya Sule and Ganesh Naik along with other party leaders were present. Monika Bhosale was present during the rally and reports on how the city has been taken by storm ahead of municipal polls as NCP heavyweights addressed a rally in Nerul. The NMMC Municipal Elections 2010 is nearing and day by day the election fever is getting higher and higher with senior stalwarts of political parties visiting the city. The NCP party also held a public meet where NCP heavyweights -R R Patil, Jayant Patil, Babanrao Pachpute, Supriya Sule, Ganesh Naik and Arun Gujarati. Also present were Thane MP Dr. Sanjeev Naik and MLA Sandeep Naik. The leaders addressed the audience and informed them about the development and progress of Navi Mumbai in comparison to neighboring cities Mumbai and Thane. During their speeches, the leaders spoke on water, roads, transportation, taxes and education. The leaders praised the work done by the Naik family in Navi Mumbai and said that the family had worked for the all those development works that is directly connected to Navi Mumbaikars. In his speech, Home Minister R R Patil also said that nobody could match the standard of education in Navi Mumbai. He added that under the SRA, they would make Navi Mumbai a slum-free city. Speaking to the media, Home Minister R R Patil said that the development done under the leadership of Ganesh Naik in Navi Mumbai is commendable and with this work Ganesh Naik had made a unique identity for himself. He also praised the Naik family on the decision to purchase Morbe dam for Navi Mumbai due to which in comparison to Thane and Mumbai, Navi Mumbai has regular and sufficient water supply. Speaking exclusively to NMTV News, State Rural Development Minister Jayant Patil that Congress was a weak party in Navi Mumbai and whatever development has been done was done by the NCP party. MP Supriya Sule said that the opposition had no issue and that’s why they were coming up with useless allegations but the NCP party will focus on their agenda of progress and not on the allegations.
