Next debt crisis victim? Italy’s cost of borrowing hits an all time high

Recession now is taking its worst toll on Italy that has recorded an all time high in cost of borrowing. The 6.77% yield on Italian 10 year government bond is a record since the euro was founded 12 years ago.

It may be noted that Italy is the third biggest economy of the European nations.
