The Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation’s administration is leaving no stones unturned to gear up for the D Day of voting on April 11. Monika Bhosale caught up with DMC in charge of elections Dadasaheb Chabukswar for details on their action plan. The Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation has appointed 8 returning officers for the elections who will supervise the entire proceedings of the voting day on April 11. Dr. Ranjane has been appointed to ensure that the model election code of conduct is not violated. The DMC said that a different cell headed by a Konkan Division official would look into the accounts of the candidates. He said that the NMMC have got 800 EVMs to operate which training has been given to 52 zonal officers and 52 asst. zonal officers. For poll day, 4000 officials have been appointed for duty.
