NMMC school no. 56 at Chinchpada in Airoli will soon have a compound wall around the school. On the appeal of the local corporator Vijay Chougule, the NMMC will execute this project. The school building was constructed 2 years back but due to the lack of compound wall many problems were faced by the students and school authorities. This is the municipal school at Chinchpada, Airoli where around 400 to 500 students are studying. The school was build two years back but no compound wall was constructed to demarcate the area of the school. With the absence of the wall, open defecation took place on the ground with some people even parking their vehicles here. The school being in a residential area, security concern became a bigger concern for the school children. Now NMMC has planned to build a compound wall around the school at an estimate of Rs 18 lakh 48460 at the request of local Sena corporator Vijay Chougule. The contract has been given to M/s Surya Enterprises. The contractor has to complete the work in 6 months. The wall would secure the entire school premises and will also prevent the entry of outsiders. With cameraperson Roshan Hare, Sudhir Sharma for NMTV News.
