The new academic year is going to bring some good news for students as NMMC schools will now provide flavored milk to municipal students. NMMC would be doing this at a cost of Rs 6 crore. Along with providing a good standard of education to students studying in civic schools, NMMC is now also looking after providing them with the best of health. Following the footsteps of MCGM, now NMMC will provide flavored milk to its students. The proposal that would be implemented at a cost of Rs 6 crore would supply 125ml of flavored milk to students studying from 1st to 4th and students studying from Std 5th to 7th will be provided with 200ml of flavored milk. While the flavored milk scheme had proved to be disastrous for MCGM as students of MCGM schools had taken to ill after consuming allegedly adulterated milk.
