BMC would be soon starting a scheme called “Adhar Scheme” which would not just benefit the poor people but also provide places for people where they can pay their property tax and water bill. Speaking at a press conference, the Additional Commissioner of BMC, Manukumar Shrivastav, informed the media about BMC’s upcoming scheme called Adhar scheme. This scheme would not only provide opportunities for the poor people but would also provide additional place for the people to fill in their property tax and water bills. Similar initiatives were taken by BMC in which plots were allotted to private doctors and social organizations so that they could provide minimal medical services to the poor but today these plots are being used entirely for commercial benefits. BMC would have to ensure that its new scheme Adhar also does not meet the same fate and indeed helps the poor. With cameraperson Rajendra Prasad, Rajeev Mishra for NMTV News.
