bmcImplementing the Mirani Committee Road, the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai would be implementing the Carbon Code technology for increasing the life span of city roads. MCGM Commissioner Swadheen Kshtriya and Mumbai Mayor Shraddha Jadhav spoke to the media on this new technology. Every monsoon exposes the poor quality of road work being done by MCGM. Potholes and craters are a common sight with commuters forced to go through a bumpy ride daily. Now the civic body is planning to implement the recommendations of the Mirani Committee report on city roads. The Mirani Committee report had stated that the Carbon Code material used last year on city roads had failed in keeping the roads smooth and pothole-free. MCGM Commissioner Swadheen Kshatriya informed that due to monsoons, they would not be able to hold the carbon code process. Mumbai Mayor Shraddha Jadhav has encouraged this project.
