nribytes2On the occasion of republic Day, NRI complex held a unique celebration for orphans in the colony. Several children participated in the event. Where on side many organizations celebrated Republci Day, the residents of NRI complex celebrated the day in a different style by organizing a special program for the orphans of Mermiar Bal Ashram. The initiative was taken by three active women residents of the complex, Rekha Sankhale, Roli Singh and Sumi Gupta who approached the other residents for the event. According to them, every citizen has some responsibility towards the society and keeping this in mind, they invited around 43 orphans of the Mermiar Bal Ashram in Koperkhairane and organized a painting competition for them. They also appealed to all citizens to help the orphan children of the nation.
