Nuclear Power Plants in southern Japan finally gets approval to restart

2011 when Japan was being hit both with first earthquake and then tsunami had suffered drastically. It got its Fukushima Dai-Chi power plants melt down. With the destruction of the nuclear plants the residents who were still dealing with the impacts of the natural destruction had to face the radiation of the plants. But after three years Southern Japan once again wants to restart the nuclear power plants. It had been working on the government approval for quite a long time and finally they got the approval.

A local governor of Japan Kagoshima gave approval to restart two reactors at the Sendai Nuclear Power Station. The approval was being given out despite protest raised out by the local residents. Kiran Kidwai – International Desk, NMTV
