Two locals along with a Nigerian have been arrested by the Panvel Police for making fake credit cards and cheating companies. Parag Chandrakant Parab, Kunal Dinesh Mistry and a Nigerian Ula Giya Lola have been arrested by the Panvel police for making fake credit cards and cheating companies by using the same for shopping. On September 11, Sr PI Suresh Bhosale from Panvel Police Station conducted a meeting with the members of jewellers’ association requested them to inform if shop owners find any suspicious customers. A jeweler informed the police about two suspicious customers who had come to buy gold ornaments worth Rs 4 lakh. The police reached the shop and arrested Parab and Mistry after finding that the duo had 11 different credit cards of as much different banks. The gang is found to have conducted such shopping in jewellery shops of New Panvel, Panvel, Kharghar and Vashi. The accused have been arrested under sections 420, 465, 467, 468, 471 and 34 of the IPC. According, the police, the gang was active in Navi Mumbai, Mumbai, Thane and Pune.
