With many Shiv Sainiks shifting loyalties to NCP, there have been a lot of clashes between the new entrants and old party workers of NCP since municipal elections this year. That is why it did not come as a surprise that MLA Sandeep Naik sent out a message to all NCP party workers. He asked them to have patience and keep faith in Thane Guardian Minister Ganesh Naik’s leadership who always rewards loyal party workers. NCP party has never been this strong in Navi Mumbai. And it did not come as a surprise that those who believe in the saying, “If you can’t fight them, join them” have shifted loyalties to Thane Guardian Minister Ganesh Naik led NCP. This includes scores of Shiv Sena party workers like the earlier known Ashtvinayak Group and others like Ramchandra Suryavasnhi. When new entrants come, there is bound to be clash with old party workers for political space and representation in each ward. This perhaps is the biggest challenge for Ganesh Naik – to accommodate new party workers and take old ones along too. It was for these party workers that MLA Sandeep Naik had a message – he cited the example of Dy. Mayor Bharat Nakhate who was not given a ticket to contest elections once and since he continued to work as loyal party worker, he was made Dy, Mayor not once but twice. He then said that usually during elections, there is unrest in party workers but for those like Suryavanshi who keep their faith in leadership, there is reward at the end of the day. MLA Sandeep Naik said that politics should not been seen as a medium to get posts but there should be integrity and dedication which bears fruits in the end. He concluded saying that history is witness that those who have patience and keep faith in Thane Guardian Minister Ganesh Naik’s leadership are rewarded at the end of the day. Evidently, the power packed speech of MLA Sandeep Naik injected enthusiasm in party workers besides sending a message to all in NCP – from corporator to party workers to practice politics of loyalty and faith in the leadership of Thane Guardian Minister Ganesh Naik.
