In one of the steepest hikes ever, the government jacked up fuel prices by Rs 4 a litre for petrol and Rs 2 for diesel. This means, apart from a hike in your car-running bill, vegetables and food items, will become even costlier. We caught up with motorists to capture their reactions to the price hike. In true Congress style, the UPA government brought down fuel prices as a populist move prior to elections and after being voted to power, gave voters a crude shock by hiking the prices again.
