POLITICAL TEMPERATURES RISE DURING FINAL DAYS OF CAMPAIGNING FOR KALYAN DOMBIVLI ELECTIONS

_kalyandombivli-election-1Political temperatures are soaring new heights for the final days of campaigning for Kalyan Dombivli elections. While the Thackeray brothers are at war of words, the Congress and NCP leaders continued their campaigning with senior leaders addressing rallies. The NCP Congress organized a public rally at Kalyan to campaign for Kalyan Dombivli Municipal Corporation elections. Senior leaders of NCP party including Rural Development Minister Jayant Patil, Tribal Development Minister Babanrao Pachpute, State Excise and Thane Guardian Minister Ganesh Naik State Minister for Urban Development Bhaskar Jadhav, and Thane MP Dr. Sanjeev Naik. Attacking the Thackeray brothers and their on going war of words, Rural Development Minister Jayant Patil said that both Uddhav and Raj have made the elections a platform for political battles giving the issue of progress and development a backseat. He also praised Thane Guardian Minister Ganesh Naik and said that a similar Navi Mumbai like progress plan and leadership was needed in Kalyan. On the other hand State Tribal Development Minister Babanrao Pachpute attacked the opposition was misusing power for selfish gains. Thane Guardian Minister Ganesh Naik appealed citizens to vote for the NCP – Congress alliance for better development and progress of Kalyan and Dombivli. State Minister for Urban Development Bhaskar Jadhav said that there was a demand for funds amounting to Rs. 277 Crores for four main highways of Kalyan and Dombivli for which Rs. 115 Crores has already been given. He added that the state has allocated funds for Kalyan Dombivli despite them not being in power here and said that if given them a chance to rule, they will do much more.
