A day prior to the Foundation Day of Shiv Sena, Executive President Uddhav Thackrey inaugurated a Chain of Shiv Sena Vada Pav stalls across the city. Adding a flavor of Mumbai’s most popula rdish – Vada Pav into politics, a chain of about 25 stalls was inaugurated at the Shiv Sena Bhavan, Dadar by Shiv Sena Executive President Uddhav Thackarey under the banner of Shiv Vada pav. Also present on the occasion were Shiv Sena MP Manohar Joshi, Sanjay Raut, Mayor Shubha Raul, Uddhav Thackarey’s so Aditya Thackrey and the chef behind the Shiv Vada pav chain Nileah Limaye. Informing the media about the chain, MP Sanjay Raut said that the stalls will be gradually expanded across the entire state and the country. This will not only help take Mumbai’s identity beyond boundaries but will also provide employment to numerous people. Also what can be better that the Shiv Sena brand being attached to Mumbai’s favorite fast food. The latest Vada Pav chain will consist of identical stalls and saffron clad staff. The cost will be at par to the common man’s reach that is Rs 6 rupees. Also special consideration will be paid for cleanliness, taste, quality and service. Having high expectations, Uddhav Thackarey even stated that he plans to take the chain aboard like New York trying to make it like the much talked about Mcdonalds burger. The chief chef Nilesh Limay informed about the training that is provided to the staff. He also informed about the expansion of the menu with Maharashtrians, popular dishes like Puran Poli, Pohe and others. An inspection unit would also be employed to check the consistency and quality of the Shiv stalls.
