The Navi Mumbai Police department has arrested a 11 people out of 33 who were involved in swindling Corporation Bank in Nerul of crores of rupees in the name of home loan. With the increase in constructions and developments, home loans have also taken a high rise in the city. Taking advantage of the same, a gang robbed Corporation Bank in Nerul of Rs I crore 8 lakh and 71000 in the form of a home loan by presenting fake documents and bank accounts. However, not receiving any repayment, Corporation Bank officials reported the case in police and after investigation has successfully arrested them. The Commissioner of Police, Navi Mumbai Ramrao Wagh threw light on the case. The police department has also sealed the culprits’ bank accounts seizing 27 lakhs and 34000.
