PRIZE DISTRIBUTION MARKS T S RAHAMAN’S NAVY CADETS PASSING OUT CEREMONY

t-s-rahaman-2It was a time of celebration and jubilation at T S Rahman in Nhava Sheva as its Navy cadets graduated from the marine academy. The T S Rahaman at Nhava Sheva is a training institute for young men wanting to join the Merchant Navy as sea cadets. A prize distribution ceremony was organized for those Navy cadets who have passed out with excellence in their theoretical and practical assessment. CIDCO MD G. S. Gill, Commissioner of Navi Mumbai Police, Gulabrao Pol along with the chairman of T S Rahaman Rasheed Yusuf were present to give away the prizes to the cadets. These cadets attired in while uniform stand tall as they soon become the part of the nation’s defense design. It takes passion and courage to become a part of nation security and undoubtedly was a proud moment for them, when they received medals and certificates of distinction. The disciplined march past showed the kind of training and discipline the cadets have gone through. A total of 160 students passed out which consisted of 120 rating and 40 cadets. The chairman of the institute Rasheeed Yusuf spoke on the rigorous process of how cadets became officers. We spoke with the cadet who bagged the trophy for all round performance.
