RAREST OF STAMP COLLECTION AT BHANDUP

stamp-Amarkot School at Bhandup has brought rare opportunity to stamp lovers. Old postal stamps of British era are put on display here. Vasudha Dhumak’s report. If you are into collecting postal stamps, then do visit the Amarkot School at Bhandup (West). The School is exhibiting some of the rarest and old postal stamps. These postal stamps were collected by the late Ramji Malusare. He was born in 1910 and out of hobby he had assorted these stamps from his relatives and friends. In these stamps you can have glimpses of the cultural and geographical changes of India. Some of these stamps were even released on the 26 January 1950, the day when the Indian Constitution came into effect and celebrated as Republic Day.
