Ratan Tata Surprises All After Announcing the Name Of His Successor

Tata, the 143 year old company, which owns the Jaguar Land Rover, being a company worth of $98bn, has finally announced the name of their successor which came as a big surprise for everybody.

Cyrus Mistry, who is the youngest son of business tycoon Pallonji Mistry, who owns around 18% of the Tata Group will be handed over the complete charge of the Tata Group of companies in Dec 2012 after Mistry spent one year under Ratan Tata as Deputy chair man. Mistry remains a surprise mainly because he is hardly known outside the Tata group since he had always maintained a low profile and because of that has also been listed as low in experience when dealing with big companies.
