The residents of Koperkhairane are troubled with the service provided by their local post office. One of the main concerns of the residents is of the pan card department where the post office has failed to deliver the pan card of residents despite the latter giving them the requisite details. Lack of co-ordination and slow pace of working in government offices is not a new thing. Be it the rail department office, the rationing office or the post office – the dreary look of the offices is similar to the kind of service they provide. Residents of Koperkhairane have complaint of their local post office for not providing proper service. The residents here complain of that despite providing the addresses to the post office, their pan cards are not being delivered to their address in time. When residents approach the post office to ask for their posts, they are allegedly threatened by the employees working at the post office. Even women residents complaint on the kind of service provided by the KK post office. When we tried to speak to the officers at the post office, they gave an excuse of getting permission from the Head Office and refused to speak to us.
