ROAD SAFETY WEEK OBSERVED IN THE CITY

road-sefty-1Navi Mumbai’s state Transport department is observing Road safety week from 1st to 30 January. During the week, commuters and residents alike will be informed about the rules and norms of traffic. With the message of Drive to care, not to dare, the Maharatsra State Transport has started the Road Safety week creating awareness amongst people about road safety norms. RTO office was established three years ago in the city in which around 1 lakhs vehicles had registered. The RTO has earned revenue of around 261 crores from vehicles breaking road safety norms. This week would also inform the people in detail about the number of cases booked by RTO and the fine and for it. With cameraperson Sampat More, Sudhir Sharma for NMTV News.
