SANJAY RAUT INAUGURATES PRABODHANKAR THACKAREY NATYA MANDIR A BORIVALI

The Prabhodhankar Thackarey Natya Mandir at Borivali redeveloped by MCGM at a cost of Rs 7.5 crore was inaugurated recently at the hands of Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut. It was in the year 2000 that the Prabhodhankar Keshav Sitaram Thackrey Natya Mandir was inaugurated by Shiv Sena Chief Bal Thackarey. The revamped look of this natya mandir in the year 2009 was inaugurated by Shiv sena MP Sanjay Raut. Also present during the event was MP Gajanand Kirtikar, MCGM DMC Vivek Pawar, MCGM Commissioner Jairaj Pathak, Mayor Shubha Raul and other MCGM officials. The structure was redeveloped by MCGM at a cost of Rs 7.5 crore and was initially going to be inaugurated by Shiv Sena Executive President Uddhav Thackarey but due to Balasaheb Thackrey’s illness he could not come for the event.
