SAY NO TO CORRUPTION – SAYS NEW NAVI MUMBAI COMMISSIONER OF POLICE JAVED AHMED

new-cp-Javed Ahmed has taken charge as the new Commissioner of Police in Navi Mumbai. He takes over the charges from Gulabrao Pol who has been elevated as Inspector General of Law and Order. Javed Ahmad made an impressive start appealing all to say no to corruption. There has been a change of face in the Navi Mumbai Commissioner of Police, as Javed Ahmad takes over as the police chief from outgoing Commissioner Gulabrao Pol. Pol is now the Inspector General of the Law and Order wing of the state. The new Commissioner of Police has taken charge. During his first day itself, Javed Ahmad toured the entire Navi Mumbai Police HQ with outgoing Commissioner of Police Gulabrao Pol and all the DCPs. Javed Ahmad who was earlier the Inspector General of Law and Order is known as a dashing officer with an impeccable and clean record as an IPS officer. Speaking to the media Javed Ahmad said that Navi Mumbai is a good city and that crime check will be his priority. He added that from the security point of view, things need to be strengthened with support from citizens. The new CP also shared his new ideas with the media. He also spoke about the need to have a healthy relationship with citizens. One often hears how Javed Ahmad hails from a royal family and takes Rs. 1 as salary from the state. However Javed Ahmad chose not to give any details on this. The new CP appealed that instead of petty things citizens should approach him for grave issues. The new CP’s message? Say no to corruption.
