GANESH IDOLS MADE OF BONE CHINA SHOULD BE IMMERSED IN ARTIFICIAL PONDS- MCGM In order to keep the city pollution free, MCGM has made an appeal to all the Ganesh Mandals in city to immerse the bone china ganesh idols into the artificial ponds made by the civic body in each of the ward. Many of the citizens prefer to purchase Ganesh idols made up of bone China due to its attractiveness and later on immerse them into the sea. The material, however, makes the sea water polluted. Therefore, MCGM has constructed 17 artificial ponds in all the wards so that the local devotees could immerse the idols into these ponds. Additional MCGM commissioner Madhav Sangle gave us more insight. With cameraperson Raju Sharma, Hansraj Kanuajia for NMTV News.
