South Korean Guards arrest an American who tried to swim through to North Korea

A man was found resting on a bank of the Han river which is a restricted military area near the border of South Korea. Trespassing itself became a crime for this man, but after the South Korean guards detain the man, the reason for him to be there became even more offensive. The guards reported to their officials that the man who was an American had told them that he wanted to meet North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, and for that he had tried to swim his way through the river to enter the rival country. The American has been held up by the South Korean authorities for further interrogations at the moment. Kiran Kidwai – International Desk, NMTV
