NMMC Education and Training Center for Children with Different Abilities celebrated Kilbil 2010 – the annual cultural program of the special school of NMMC. Sana Warsia gives us the details on this report. What you just saw might look like any other group of children trained professionally but if you take a closer look there’s a difference. A difference that will leave you spell bound and in awe for these are special children of a municipal school performing at their annual day compelling one to believe that if you have the will, you’ll always find the way. In a ambience of parental and teachers love, Vishnudas Bhave Auditorium was lit with a special glow as NMMC Education and Training Center for Children with Different Abilities celebrated Kilbil 2009 – the annual cultural program of the special school of NMMC. Present to be a part of the celebrations of these special children was State Election Commissioner Neela Satyanarayan. The media caught up with the guests after the event and no points for guessing, that they were all praises about the special children. Neela Satyanarayan said that these kids should be motivated to live on their own. On being asked on the women reservation bill, Neela Satyanarayan said that while the bill would be welcomed women in different fields had proven themselves that of given an opportunity they could do much more. She said that women who become victims of domestic violence, dowry cases and other social evils should be motivated by those women who have progressed.
