The SSC exams have begun. While exam fever usually grips not only the students but also the parents, students have given thumbs up for the first language papers. Hindi, Marathi and other language exams were held on the first day. We spoke to the students who were at the examination centre. Let’s listen to what the examinees felt about their first experience with the board exams. We also spoke to Vice Principal of Navi Mumbai high school who gave us information about the measures taken by school to prevent cheating. The exam is being held in 8 divisions of the Maharashtra state Board including Mumbai. Over 16 lakh students will appear for the exam at 3,692 centres across the state including 3.48 lakh students from the division.
