More than 25 students appearing for their SSC KT examinations could not write their papers due to a controversy over the time table. Students say that in the schools, there was only one time table that was put up and they referred to that only to find out later that it was not for KT but regular students. Hence students missed their papers. The grieved parents and students, led by social worker Purshottam Bhoir met the Regional Head of the Maharashtra State Board Office at Vashi with their complaints. But the board tossed the blame on the parents first. And later on the respective school’s management. The nearly 25 students who could not write their English paper have complaints against Modern School and New Bombay High School. These students are from various schools of the city, which include Sir J J High School, Fort, Mezidian High School, Airoli and Sree Gauri Dutta Mithal Vidayalaya Sion. Considering that the issue is to do with an entire year of students, the board should get to the bottom of the mess up and consider holding special examination for them as well.
