Angry about the amount of water supplied to all the wards of MCGM, the standing committee members demanded for equal level of water supply, so that every ward would get same amount of water. Looking at the amount of water supplied to all the wards of Mumbai, BJP Leader in MCGM Advocate Ashish Shelar presented a proposal about low water pressure supply that was being faced by all the wards. His concern was also accepted by the Standing Committee members and Chairman Ravindra Waikar. Throwing light on another aspect of water supply process of MCGM, standing committee member Mangesh Bansode said that MCGM also supplies water to BPT area, but the bill for the same is not being paid. Therefore, the pending bill amount is to the tune of Rs 150 to 200 crores but the administration is neither keen on getting the bill amount paid nor is it taking action against the illegal pumps installed. Standing committee chairman Ravindra Waikar also supported the equal water distribution in wards. With cameraperson Vinayak Dalvi, Hansraj Kanaujia for NMTV news.
