State Industries Minister Ashok Chavan was in the city yesterday to inaugurate the office complex building of Taloja Manufacturers Association. The Taloja Manufactures Association’s new office building complex was inaugurated at the hands of State Industries Minister Ashok Chavan. The complex has come up on plot no. M-21. The industrialist made the Minister aware of the problems they are facing in the Taloja Industrial Belt and appealed him to address the issues. This includes streetlights, encroachment and truck terminal. After being briefed about the problems, the Industries Minister ordered MIDC authorities to immediately deal with the severe ones. He informed the industrialist about the new policy decision taken by the state that can permit industrial townships without the NOC of the gram panchayat of the area. Speaking to Navi Mumbai News, the Minister said that there are several problems that have been voiced by the industrialists and assured better facilities for them. Navi Mumbai News also shared a few words with the Addtl. CEO of MIDC about the problems that inflict the industrial belt.
