Trained doctors will be appointed and main diseases will be cured without any charges. While speaking during a press conference arranged at St. George Hospital, Minister for Medical Education, Dr. Vijaykumar Gavit elaborated on the scheme. He assured that 90% vacancies in medical institutes would be filled by the month of May. This scheme will be implemented for the first time in India. It will benefit poor in rural areas. Minister of State for Medical Education, Varsha Gaikwad was also present for the press conference. This scheme will make it mandatory for doctors to go into rural areas.
