STOMACH SCANNER WORTH 2.5 CRORES NOT YET UTILIZED BY KEM HOSPITAL

The Dean of KEM hospital, Dr. M E Yeolekar however informed NMTV News that the stomach scanner purchased for 2.5 crores 1 year ago, will soon be made functional for patients. This after Mayor Shobha Raul raised concern about it lying wasted. Stomach scanner machine worth 2.5 crores was purchased for the patients of KEM hospital a year ago, but is still not unpacked and lies wasted at the KEM Hospital. Last week Mayor Shobha Raul voiced her disapproval stating that the machine be put to use for patients. At the hospital the Dean of KEM Dr. M E Yeolekar informed NMTV News that initially they were facing installation problems as the weighs 3 tons but it will be made functional in a month’s time. It was during a visit to the hospital recently that Mayor Shobha Raul had voiced her disapproval in activating the machine for patients despite a year to its purchase.
