The battle of brawn takes another turn as the country’s ‘stone-headed man’ Dhananjay Shevale, a constable at the police commissionerate in Nashik, has thrown in a challenge to the nation’s 120 strongmen to test their strength on his head. Dhananjay Shevale, who can take heavy blows on his head, has dared 120 strongmen of the country to hit him 21 times on his head. This was announced during a press conference in Mumbai. During the meet, Dhananjay Shevale displayed his strength by hitting his head with 22 kg and 8 kg of stone, police stick and hammer. His daily diet consists of 1 kilo mutton, 6 eggs, 1 litre milk, quarter kg ghee and quarter k dry fruits. His two sons, Pritam and Prashin shevale also have a keen interest in this sport. Dhananjay was designated as the stone-headed man of India by world champion Krishnaji Gopal Shrivastav in 2000. His feat won him accolades from the Rotary clubs and the police force, and earned him an entry in the Limca Book of Records.
