During the event at Airoli, Thane Guardian Minister Ganesh Naik was again at his aggressive best. Once again hitting out NMMC administration and officials, the Minister said that officials have degrees in education and yet if they are not performing then they should just leave their offices. The Minister was very stern when he sent out a message to officials and party workers that if they did not fulfill the calls of their duty efficiently, then Ganesh Naik would not stand with them for any public task. Thane Guardian Minister Ganesh Naik is upset again with NMMC officials and perhaps even party workers again, this within a month after his outburst on Foundation Day celebrations of NMMC. Hitting out at NMMC officials for the parking crisis in Navi Mumbai, Thane Guardian Minister Ganesh Naik said that had the NMMC officials done their job then today the stilts in various buildings would not have been illegally sold by builders and become the root cause of parking crisis in Navi Mumbai. The Minister went on to reprimand NMMC officials who indulge in dereliction of duty and said that the officials has obtained degrees in education and that is why they were on significant posts in NMMC. However, he advised officials who are not performing to leave office as he would never support them. As the Guardian Minister he wants transparency in work and for that he is ready to put his political career at stake as well. Thane Guardian Minister Ganesh Naik said that there is a new mafia operating in the city – that is the construction mafia. This mafia’s modus operandi is to make illegal homes and sell it to ignorant buyers with all amenities. These buyers then become victims when government carries out anti encroachment drives. He continued to lash out at the construction mafia saying that they were criminal minds with no integrity. On a spiritual note, Thane Guardian Minister Ganesh Naik said that death is the truth of life. Justifying why he gave the post of Standing Committee Chairman to Anant, he said that Ganesh Naik will always be with performers. He said that he would filter bad elements from the party just like a water purifying machine. On an emotional note, he also shared the reason why the Naiks had left home just after 3 days of his mother’s demise. NMTV News caught up with the Minister later on his outburst. Explicating his disappointment with NMMC officials and party workers, Thane Guardian Minister Ganesh Naik stated that the people had elected their MP, MLA and corporators – that is why he will not tolerate negative and bad elements in the party. Looks like, for their own good, NMMC officials and corporators should understand fast what their leader Ganesh Naik wants – either perform or perish !
