A huge crowd of supporters and party workers were present wherever he went. NCP candidate from ward no 77 Ganesh Bhagat is contesting the municipal elections for the first time. To boost the energy and morale of the candidate, Thane Guardian Minister Ganesh Naik was present. During this time, the election manifesto of Ganesh Bhagat was also released at the hands of the minister. Along with this, Thane Guardian Minister Ganesh Naik also felicitated those party workers who had defected from other political parties and joined NCP. A huge public response was seen here. Addressing the crowd, Thane Guardian Minister Ganesh Naik appealed the voters to support Ganesh Bhagat and said that the development work of the ward would be done from his MLA funds. Thane Guardian Minister Ganesh Naik also visited the ward of NCP candidate Sunanda Thakur from ward no 78 in Nerul village. Speaking to the people, Thane Guardian Ganesh Naik said that the way the residents have supported them in the assembly elections, he urged them to support Sunanda Thakur too. Thane Guardian Minister Ganesh Naik walked down the streets of the ward amongst a fully charged crowd flanked with NCP flags and slogans. After this, Thane Guardian Minister Ganesh Naik headed towards ward no 75 from which NCP candidate Dhanaji Thakur is contesting. Here too, the Minister appealed to the residents to support him and his candidate in the elections. The last ward that Thane Guardian minister Ganesh Naik visited was the ward, which is already the stronghold of the NCP, the ward of NCP candidate Sandeep Sutar who is contesting from ward 79. Sandeep Sutar’s wife Saluja Sutar is the sitting corporator of the ward and has done lot of public work. Thane Guardian Minister Ganesh Naik had garnered good votes in this ward during assembly elections and this lead is likely to continue even in municipal elections.
