The world gets together to celebrate the 95th birthday of the iconic hero, Nelson Mandela

The whole world have got together to celebrate the 95th birthday of Nelson Mandela, as a tribute to the iconic hero. Volunteers will be seen spending 67 minutes on hundreds of community upliftment projects. The minutes were in comparison with the fact that Nelson Mandela had spent 67 years of his life in politics fighting for the rights and justice for the black community, so every year will be a minute. All over the world there would be celebrations and charity, but Nelson Mandela himself would not be present for any celebration. Fighting illness due to lung infection for the past six weeks, he has been living on the life supports. Along with falling health conditions, Nelson Mandela also had been badly affected with the ongoing fights among his relatives.
Nelson Mandela was born on 18th July, 1918. He had started his fight for the equal rights for the South African blacks with the Whites for which he had to face had to face 27 years of rigorous punishment after he had been convicted of treason in 1964. But after returning from the prison Mandela kept fighting and finally sought victory against the White rule.
