Post Sena leaders Subhash Desai and MLA Harishchandra Patil personal remarks on the Thane Guardian Minister Ganesh Naik, the Minister called for a press conference. As the heat of the by elections is building up in the Thane Belapur Lok Sabha constituency, the blame game has begun. Sena leader Subhash Desai has accused Thane Guardian Minister Ganesh Naik of washing his hands every time he shook hands with any person of the Agri community. He said that the Minister did this despite himself belonging to the Agri community. Not hard to decipher that the reason for attacking Ganesh Naik on this front was to create a dent in his Agri vote bank with the NCP. The Sena has also accused Ganesh Naik of threatening the labours and company owners of the constituency of voting for his son Sanjeev Naik else, his dept. will close their businesses. In response to these allegations, Thane Guardian Minister Ganesh Naik called for a press conference and refuted the blames. He also specified that the Sena has no real issues to come on down on the battle ground and that is why they are playing unethical politics. On Sena allegations of him threatening companies, Ganesh Naik said that if anyone proved the same, he would resign the same day. While the blame game is part and parcel of any elections, political parties should try and not fall to levels that their political practice comes close to being called unethical and shameful. For the voters definitely want to hear the difference political leaders will make in the public life and not what they do in their personal lives.
