THIS WEEK’S STATE ASSEMBLY BEGINS WITH POOR ATTENDANCE OF MINISTER

Vidahan-Bhavan-2The recent State assembly saw poor attendance by ministers proving the point that political parties are more inclined towards their own interests than of the nation. Many of the miniters preferred to attend Sonia Gandhi’s Sangli and Usmanabad meets that the state assembly which were to discuss some important issues of the people. The Opposition party called it an unfortunate affair as most of the ministers were not present at the recent State Assembly. Opposition leader Ramdas Kadam & BJP senior leader Eknath Khadse raised strict objections on the issue. According to the opposition leaders the absence of the ministers clearly denotes that they are more interested in their leader than the state. The Chief Minister too was not present for the discussions. Rising up to the opposition allegations, State Assembly President Babasaheb Kupekar said that it was not for the first time that the ministers were not present for a session.
