Taking up the issue of the numerous hoardings that have made Thane look ugly, Thane Municipal Commissioner Nandlal Jantre has ordered to remove all the illegal banners & hoarders in Thane district. Strict actions will be taken against those who defer this order. Illegal banners & hoardings have made their niche all over the Clean & Green city of Thane. Political banners of greetings have been placed in large numbers all across the city because of which the corporation has decided to take strict actions against such illegal banners & hoardings. Commissioner Nandlal Jantre also stated that all the divisional committees have been informed about the issue. Banners dotting city roads and streets are making Thane look bad. Common people find it difficult to walk on the roads. As a result the residents have demanded to take strict actions against the issue. While the order passed by TMC was necessary to take up the issue, the implementation of the same is equally essential. From Thane, Pravin Sonawane for NMTV News.
