In an attempt to ensure that people are paying their duly taxes, the Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) tax-collection staff have decided to take out procession bands to blare out music against defaulters, to alert the entire locality and force them into paying their dues.
There are 4.10 lakh property and water tax payers listed with the TMC.
