Training Ship Rahaman at Nhava held the prize distribution ceremony in its centenary Year. At the campus, Director General of Shipping, Dr. S.B. Agnihotri was present to confer rewards on the passing out cadets. He shared his words of wisdom with the cadets. In the presence of dignitaries of its campus at Nhava, Training Ship Rahaman held its Prize Distribution Ceremony. Cadets who have performed outstandingly were given certificates at the hands of the chief guest, Director General of Shipping, Dr. S.B. Agnihotri. TS Rahaman meant for navy cadets is known for its strenuous discipline and quality education. Since this year the institute is celebrating its centenary year, each occasion has become special in itself. The awards to the cadets are given on the basis of professional, academic, sports conduct and on the basis of ratings given in theory and workshops. The cadets those who pass out from here represent India in foreign oceanic arena. While speaking to NMTV News, Director General of Shipping shared about the importance of discipline as these cadets in later life act as an ambassador of India in their own domain.
